Our first feature film Youth was centred around the subject of water scarcity in Maharashtra. This water-crisis has led to alarmingly high figures of farmer suicides. As per official data from National Crime Records Bureau, commonly referred to as NCRB, there have been 3,09,426 farmer suicides in 2 decades. We were completely shaken by these figures and said #LetsStopIt.

We partnered with ActionAid, an international NGO, and launched this social movement to bring positive change. We started with the adoption of Pahadi Pargaon and Jiwachiwadi villages in the Beed district of Maharashtra, which has witnessed the highest rate of farmer suicides. So, while the campaign has already started and we are doing our best to bring relief to these families, we aspire to do much more.

If the plight of farmers makes you uncomfortable, you are welcome to join our movement. You can contribute in a number of ways. The most obvious and easy thing to do is to be more attentive to water conservation and minimize wastage in daily use. Secondly, you can also help us build awareness about the situation by sharing this video in your social circles.

Lastly, you can help financially by making a donation
